Taking the plunge and experimenting with raw foods and how adding herbs can make tremendous changes.

July 28, Sat Herb Walk- Identifying Wild Edibles 9a-12p
we will be enjoying an informative walk identifying edible & medicinal native plants.

This will be followed by a Slide Presentation of Local Herbs
New to Colorado Springs or live in the Front Range area for sometime but don’t know the plants? Join local herbalist, Sharon Schulman as she guides us through an ‘arm chair’ slide show presentation. See & learn about different herbs and plants you find locally while taking our herb walk or even your own back yard! Throughout the slide presentation, Sharon and other herbalist will share the basics on how some of these herbs can be used.

Growing an Herb Garden or see those lovely herbs while hiking in the mountains, but never know what to do with them? Learn to wildcraft, harvest, store and use your herbs for the winter months ahead. If you have any harvested herbs or plants to share, please bring them along as well. What an exciting meeting this will be!
